Qalam wa Lawh's merit-based Ibn Battuta Scholarship for Peace and Diplomacy gives students from around the world the chance to study for free at Qalam wa Lawh in Rabat, Morocco.
Recipients for the Scholarship are chosen based on their dedication to the study of the Arabic language. Students may choose to apply for a 14-week semester session (fall or spring), or a 4-week session (summer or winter). Qalam wa Lawh awards both full and partial scholarships.
Qalam wa Lawh offers many types of Arabic classes and programs year-round. Scholarships apply to Qalam's semi-intensive Modern Standard Arabic classes, providing a total of 20 hours of Arabic study per week for recipients. You can learn more about our Arabic programs here.
