Qalam wa Lawh has partnered with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s to host UL’s Summer 2022 Arabic Immersion program. UL is a national research institution, home to over 18000 students, 100+ programs, and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

For over thirty years UL Lafayette has had one of the State’s best study abroad programs. Students can choose from a variety of sites on two continents and have the learning experience of a lifetime.

Arabic Summer program in Morocco. With more than 80 Arabic contact hours over the course of 4 weeks, this program will allow students to cover one semester course in one intense summer. Students also will have the opportunity to participate in a range of cultural immersion activities – including cooking, calligraphy, dance and music sessions – in addition to attending lectures from local experts. The program includes excursions to the south (Ifrane-Errachidia-Merzouga) and north (Tangier-Tetouan-Chefchaoun) of Morocco as well as visits to well-known cities, including Fes, Casablanca, and Marrackech.
